Ethiopia: Day 1

Dulles.  Terminal D.  Gate 23.  We landed over four hours ago.  I was upgraded to Business class for the first leg of our day and a half long journey to Ethiopia.  It had its plusses and minuses.  I was separated from the group, but the superior legroom may have made up for it.  I’m still debating.  Kept busy with our iPods, trips down the concourse to Subway and Gordon Biersch, and Jen’s writing assignments, the time at the gate just slipped by.  It’s about half an hour until we board, I think.  Oh, man.  A sixteen hour long flight. I’m excited…
